What will be covered:
Phonetics and alphabet - clear articulation of sounds
Grammar for communication - simplified approach - the main goal is constructing simple sentences (what I see/what I do?, give, take, help, come here, stand there) - for understanding instructions and describing simple actions (I did, tomorrow I will paint).
The most necessary vocabulary (tools and equipment, work actions: carry, put, lift, lower, twist, assemble, repair, turn on, turn off, materials: wood, metal, plastic, pipe, wire, nut, bolt, safety: dangerous, careful, don’t touch, wear a helmet, where is the first aid kit?, city: shop, bus, stop, hospital, pharmacy, how much does it cost?, food and money: names of main products in the canteen, numbers and prices.
Practicing dialogues: How to get there?, How much does it cost?, Where to get...?, I don’t understand, repeat.
Listening: recognizing commands and simple requests.
During the course, students learn the most necessary and frequently used vocabulary, basic grammar, and principles of Russian phonetics to overcome the language barrier in simple everyday situations.
